Jimmy Jimmy's first project was a crafting a wooden go-kart at the age of 10. He started by making everything by hand and continues that today. As a young adult Jimmy converted an old wooden clothes closet into a china cabinet that is now considered a family heirloom in our family. Jimmy's work is in the 'primitive' style. In his life he has made primitive tables, hope chest, curio cabinets and memory boxes. He has also crafted some less primitive items but he still does not have or use any fancy tools. Jimmy also works with brick while still 'green', carving small flowers or crosses in brick. It is then fired the same as brick used in masonry work. Jimmy mostly makes book ends, but has made other brick art items including a decorative miniature canoe.
